I Know You’re Upset. (Short Version) By Mark Turns. Copyright (c) 2014 Mark Turns.

Across America many people have gotten upset about pictures and religious symbols of The Lord hanging in schools and in other various public places. For years, people have been singing the song “God Bless America” and other relative songs. People have also been saying “Pray for our soldiers.” The following applies to the past, present and to the future. As long as mankind believes they can have their cake and eat it too, mankind will always be their own worst enemy and the destruction of their own society.

With all respects in place I have 2 questions. If people here in America are offended by seeing pictures of The Lord and other related religious symbols in the schools and in various other public places that are located in America how do they figure that God is good-enough to bless America? How do they figure that God is good-enough to help them in times of illness and in times of trouble? Think about it. You don’t get something for nothing. For years, many people have always thought that they can have their cake and eat it too. You mean to tell me that God is only good-enough to come to and to acknowledge only when you want something or when you’re in trouble? How would you feel if people only came to you only when they wanted something?  The Lord knows that we’re not perfect but, at the same time, The Lord and God both deserve respect. The following is also mentioned in the “Say What??” http://lilgoat.com/?page_id=56 link/page of this website however, I feel this also belongs on this “Food For Thought” link/page as food for thought that many people in society do not think about. I would like to take a few moments to touch on the subject of society criticizing adults who still live at home with their parents. Guess what?  The famous Paul Harvey “The Rest Of The Story” quote along with his relative quotes needs to be applied regarding this subject. The adults who still live at home with their parents are not bad, irresponsible people nor are they significant cases as compared to many other people, couples and households in this society. Listen to this link/sound-clip http://lilgoat.com/?page_id=42 (What Is The Difference? (Remix) and see why. There are many adults, couples and households that do fall-under one, some or all of the scenarios and situations that are mentioned in the above-mentioned “What Is The Difference? (Remix)” link/sound-clip. People are TOO concerned about what other people may think and this is one of the things that gets people into trouble that also includes financial hardships.

The 2 acapella sound-clips below titled: ” God Doesn’t Hide His Diamonds” -AND- “Only Knows And Only Wants To Accept” are also additional foods for thought along with the other links that are listed below on this “Food For Thought” page.
