\nTHE MG’S AND ISAAC HAYES ARE JUST SOME OF THE GREATS
\nTHAT HAVE HELPED MAKE STAX RECORDS AN UNFORGETTABLE
\nRECORD LABEL WITH A TREMENDOUS UNFORGETTABLE SOUND.
\nI KNOW THAT BARBARA LEWIS SANG ON THE ATLANTIC RECORD LABEL BUT ATLANTIC RECORDS HAD A DISTRIBUTION DEAL WITH STAX RECORDS UNTIL 1968.\u00a0SHE HAD A GREAT SOUND. MR. JIM STEWART AND HIS SISTER MRS. ESTELLE AXTON WERE THE FOUNDERS OF STAX RECORDS.<\/b><\/b><\/b><\/b><\/b><\/b>

\nJust love and blues sing just the way
\nit was-
\nrough-alley soul-
\nI’m cryin’ sweet tender alley and soul
\nvoices of blues hear me all the time…<\/p>\n

\nThe following poem titled: “SOUNDTRACKS” is about The Late Great Curtis
\nMayfield, Isaac Hayes and their music. Little Child Runnin’ Wild by Curtis
\nMayfield and The Theme From Shaft by Isaac Hayes. The theme and feel as I
\nfeel it mixed all in with November 1971, a nightscene, daytime, a 1969 Nova-
\nSuper-Sport, a gold 1971 Mustang Mach I as well as the 1971 Dodge Challenger,
\ndowntown and urban neighborhoods. I realize that Curtis Mayfield is not a Stax
\nRecords Artist but
\nIsaac Hayes is and the mix felt good for the following poem creation. I thought
\nthat it would make a nice addition anyway. Enjoy!<\/p>\n

\nand more Hayes-\u00a0 protrude November 71 impressions
\nsmooth to a choppy-idle butterscotch…<\/b><\/p>\n

I let them love to an only girl and boy-
\nNo matter what you’re made to feel that
\nlove now, can’t be broken in pieces…<\/p>\n
